OPEN POMPIDOU >>> The Pompidou is OPEN, and it’s in your home.
15 works of art by Luca Rossi that are in your home and that you are NOT seeing
30 great modern and contemporary artists who are already in your home and that you are NOT seeing
After Luca Rossi’s Home Pavilion (2024), the first pavilion of the Venice Biennale in the viewer’s home, in your home, Luca Rossi returns with a truly magical project: reopening the Pompidou Museum even though we all know that the museum is closed for renovation.
Today, in fact, the MUSEUM is no longer a place but lies in our ABILITY TO TRAIN NEW EYES. So if we want to, we can open it. In fact, it is already open, it is in our home, but we are simply NOT seeing it.
We are experiencing great chaos and a bombardment of content, of which we are all both creators and victims, and in which the deepest idea of TRUTH is constantly being questioned. In other words, we cannot talk about any topic (post-colonialism, politics, post-anthropocentrism, gender fluidity, indigenous cultures, etc.) without first developing a strong critical sense capable of selecting, seeing what seems invisible and then acting accordingly.
With the OpenPompidou Project, anyone can try this (select, see and act) and can request a ticket/document for 5 Euro that will allow them to find 15 Hidden Works by Luca Rossi and 30 great modern and contemporary artists in their own home.
Each of these 30 artists has an attitude capable of changing and revolutionising our lives. Are you ready to train new eyes or would you rather keep your eyes closed?
The best museum is your home, it must be your home.
